Linda Manor Extended Care earns Joint Commission Gold Seal

Linda Manor Extended Care Facility has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Nursing Care Center Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient and resident care.

Linda Manor underwent a rigorous on-site survey on September 15, 2016. During the review, Joint Commission expert surveyors evaluated compliance with nursing care center standards related to several areas, including assistance with activities of daily living, coordination of care, and staff education and training. Surveyors also conducted on-site observations and interviews with leaders and staff of the organization.

“Joint Commission accreditation provides nursing homes with a framework for the processes needed to improve the care patients and residents receive,” said Gina Zimmermann, MS, executive director, Nursing Care Center Accreditation Program, The Joint Commission. “We commend Linda Manor Extended Care Facility for its efforts to become a quality improvement organization.”

“Linda Manor is pleased to receive accreditation from The Joint Commission, the premier health care quality improvement and accrediting body in the nation,” added Mark Ailinger, Administrator of Linda Manor. “Staff from across the organization continue to work together to develop and implement approaches and strategies that have the potential to improve care for our patients and residents.”
