Linda Manor executive among Springfield College “40 Under 40”

Emily Uguccioni, executive director of Linda Manor Assisted Living in Leeds, is among Springfield College’s inaugural “40 Under 40” alumni. The college recognized alumni who “personify the Springfield College degree and inspire, influence and impact others personally and professionally.”

Uguccioni will join others from the group at a recognition ceremony on March 25.

Her profile on the College’s website notes that Uguccioni chose Springfield College “based on my goal to enrich the lives of others. Springfield College graduates are well known for their inherent desire to help others and impact positive change, and I wanted to be one of those people.”

Uguccioni, of Chicopee, joined Linda Manor Assisted Living as Executive Director in 2015. Uguccioni is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has more than ten years of experience in the assisted living and long-term care field.

Uguccioni earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Springfield College in 2006 and certification as a dementia practitioner from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners in 2014. She served as Director of Operations and Services at Seabury Active Life Community in Bloomfield, Connecticut before joining Linda Manor.
Uguccioni is a member of the Education Conference Committee of the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut and the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Coalition to Improve End of Life Care.
